One of Life’s Greatest Pleasures is a Mid-Afternoon Nap

There is something about taking a break in the middle of the day, closing your eyes, and letting your mind and body relax that can be incredibly refreshing. Working from home mostly for the past 3 years, I always enjoyed one one whole hour of lunch to include a short nap!

Today is the 5th day I am stuck at home (off from work) to manage a kitchen renovation. As someone with many OCDs and doesn’t like people around, having the people in the house and a messy house has increased my stress level multiple times. Plus, supervising work till late evening means I can’t step out of the house, do my workout properly or have a nap in the afternoon. Most days I am just crashing to bed after 8:30 having to wake up at 4am to do a 5am morning run!

This has left me, on day 5, pretty tired. All I can think is the nap I am missing! Ah, wish these people finish the work fast enough for me to have some peace!
