Top 10 favourite books I have read…

The ‘favourite book list’ is doing its rounds in facebook i got tagged as well… So, i was trying to remember my recent reads… Being a bookworm, it was hard to short-list the ‘favourites’ from a long list of books… Because i had fallen in love with most of the books and authors, especially the classic ones…

After long, careful considerations, i came up with the following list:

1. To kill a mockingbird – Harper Lee
2. The Hobbit – J. R. R. Tolkien
3. The great Gatsby – F. Scott Fitzgerald
4. Extremely loud and incredibly close – Jonathan Safran Foer
5. Roots – Alex Haley
6. The catcher in the rye – J. D. Salinger
7. The perks of being a wallflower – Stephen Chbosky
8. This side of the paradise – F. Scott Fitzgerald
9. Life of Pi – Yann Martel
10. We need new names – NoViolet Bulawayo

It’s a shame i couldn’t find a slot for any of Mitch Albom’s or Nicholas Sparks or  Roald Dahl’s books or even Paulo Coelho’s books… Too many favourites!!!
