When it is hard to find motivation!

Yeah, some days!

For someone who is too focused on numbers and goals, hitting a zero motivation patch is not easy. I have not run in two days and that is bugging me.

Is the training block – however well is going – is boring me?

Am I burned out?

Are those minor niggles are bugging me too much?

Is it the weather? No it can’t be!

Am I distracted? Okay life gets busy; or life gets boring. But there is nothing that is occupying my life that is distracting!

Is it the monotony? Probably yeah! Running plans are all great; I am good at checking all boxes green. But weeks and months of doing the same thing – yeah it gets you!

What should i do? May be what could be better is being a little flexible and not being obsessed about those green check boxes?

And, i should watch a movie, or bake a cake. When was the last time, i baked a cake? Don’t even remember! Time to mix things up and not just focused on running!
